Just what I was thinking, although the old school in me would have preferred to see Duddeston brought back into use. Probably totally impractical given the long dilapidated state, likely asbestos and more recently a stack of DU buildings that have been parked at what would be the exit area
seemed a strange move to me when I saw it and then F14 didn’t move for an age. As for ARS I would be surprised if it was on as trains were being manually routed from the up slow to up fast via platform 3 at that time

Looking back over the comments here and whilst questioning, inquisitive, curious, speculative, just to echo Yorkie’s requests above, this is just 16hrs after the incident, the RAIB report into Talerddig was only issued this week some 18 months post incident so this will not be concluded any time...
Fully applauded, from a Control have been involved in incidents that have been declared major and 2 where staff members were killed on duty and can attest you fall into the “affected” category. Thoughts with all of those with dealings in this incident in any capacity
Not seen that of that is the generic National Rail announcement. To me a track defect would suggest something over West London Jn itself which wouldn’t necessitate such a long lead in from South Hampstead in my experience ?? ….unless an odd plain line defect
Just travelling on the 1907 from Euston tonight with a crawl following no train between Camden and West London Jn. Looks like the last 5 or 6 departures have lost around 4” presumably with this too.
