Are the class 755's able to use sprinter speeds between Ely and Norwich?

Posts 3126 and 3127 of this thread ID`d the vehicles as 826001, 827001, 828001 and 829001(vehicles for 801001). The label on 829001 also ID'd it as IEP037 which according to the delivery schedule is Train 37, the first electric train which should have been to be delivered to GWR with a scheduled...

According to www.old-dalby.com GBRF should have moved at least one of the IEP's from Ashfordby to North Pole IEP depot last Friday 16th October (5X08), but it was `cancelled throughout due to a request by the customer`. Keep an eye on the excellent old-dalby.com site for more information...

I think that when dk1 refers to the local fleet, it is the dmu units based at Crown Point.

Perhaps Abellio don't want the work to be done as it will mean they will have a unit away for a number of weeks. They are struggling at the moment to keep to booked formations. BTW could the above refresh be done in a week for each unit?
