According to Gatwick Express's website its 31 minutes from Gatwick to Victoria @£19.50 for a single, but according to GTR's Thameslink Facebook ads its "as little as 29 mins and as little as £11.30" to get from London Bridge to Gatwick airport, have they finally given up on the Gatwick Express?
Horsham to Drayton Park, normally I buy Horsham to Gatwick, Gatwick to East / West Croydon, and then Croydon to Drayton Park. Taking the Thameslink train from Horsham to Finsbury Park, then changing to Great Northern to Drayton Park
I was buying a return from East Croydon or West Croydon to Drayton Park, routed via either CITY TL/SURREY Q, which was £13.90 (not using any discounts or railcards) but the fare for tomorrow morning appears to be £20.70
I regularly travel between two GTR stations, in early March the return price increased by 80p a day (Which I was expecting), but since last week the price according to journey planners has risen by a further 49%
Has there been a further fare increase this week?
Earlier today I tried to collect a pre-booked ticket for travel tomorrow, but one of the ticket machines at the station was out of order and the other had the collection option greyed out.
I messaged the TOC to ask what I should do assuming there was still a problem tomorrow morning, and they...
A Subject Access Request has to be made in writing but doesn't have to be a "hard copy", meaning a valid SAR can be submitted via Twitter, Facebook, etc. Additionally, it doesn't have to be submitted to the person that deals with them or via a form. Which in the case of Scotrail giving a driver...
The local Horsham paper is reporting that a train went through Parsonage Road level crossing with one of the barriers still in the upright position.

I swapped to the online version a long time ago, but due to GTR making trains "vanish" from the timetable I've now got a paper copy of the timetables to make delay repay slightly easier.
Although I'm surprised that they're all now A4 vs the pocket timetables I was picking up 25 years ago when...
At Finsbury Park I'm getting pretty used to running from platform 2 to platform 4 (although tonight it was 4 to 2) but as platform 2 is double sided is there a technical reason why platforms 3 & 4 aren't used to save the running between platforms?
Due to GTR making trains vanishing from the online timetable over the past few months, I thought it was worthwhile asking for a paper copy of "the truth", but today I was handed a pile of huge A4 timetables.
Is this a recent change or have the pocket paper timetables of old been gone for longer?
It appears the platform also has problems
