It could be crew arriving late given there has been OLR disruption impacting trains heading north.

I work for northern (conductor) and I enjoy it :) my ctms are brilliant though as is my depot x

As a conductor, it’s a good indication that the doors are correctly closed but I’d never not look at the doors before closing my local. When it’s an issue (glare) is when the train stops out of course as we will always stick head our cess side to check if a hazard is lit before further...

It depends - when I started we didn’t have a northern service from hull to Leeds so TPE direct was quickest option. :)

I’d also like to give my experience as a qualified conductor. I applied nov 18, testing January, interview feb. Offer March and medical May, started in August, passed out October and completed my routes end nov. I’ve now been out on my own for 3 weeks and it’s worth the wait :) Good luck

Northern? I’m a conductor at northern & you should get the week before you start :) If you’ve to travel on tpe you’ll be given a residential pass for travel when you get to training school x

I would. They’ve been super with me as it’s made me quite anxious this whole process!

I got it mid May - it has to be back end of May. I’ve spoken to them today and will get my pass afew days before I start :)

I’m 5th August but Leeds :) I’ve sent my contract back but heard nothing since :)

When do you start Paul? I start in August :) it’s the slowest time now!!
