Smart casual. It can be a long gruelling day so you need to be comfortable. I got the job wearing smart casual to assessment so it won’t make a difference about wether you get the job or not.
If you make it to interview then definitely wear suit and tie and polish your shoes lol
It's amazing mate and welcome on board. It can depend on which depot you are at but when you start ask the other guards/drivers at your depot. At my depot the do do staff taxis but they are very early in the morning and very late at night.

All depends on which depot ur at. I'm at BMH and earliest start is 4am and latest finish is 0330am. Hours can range from 6hrs-10hrs a day but can vary. It's an amazing job BUT can be very tiring!!! Weymouth's earliest start time is 5am and latest finish around midnight and u will only work on...
I'm a commercial guard for SWT so I can tell you abit. Training will take place at Basingstoke on a Mon - Fri, 9-5 basis and that does NOT include travel. Training will last for about 8-12 weeks. Lunch is not included. Need anymore info just ask. Congratulations by the way it's a great job.
Alright mate, ring recruitment as I got told 7-10 days but I rang them on day 10, 12 & again on the 14th day and told me I got the job. So ring them every couple of days and it looks good as it shows you really want it too!!!
I'm the manager at SWT and your no longer invited to assessment!!!! Only kidding!!!
Why don't you got to the station and speak to the current CO3 and ask them questions and ask to speak to the manager about the station. I did this when I first started and got the job!!
Don't worry about the...
No they don't bud as there's a waiting list which is 6 years plus. Internal staff can apply but we have also got to wait in the waiting list. Try phoning SWT recruitment and ask about it. If you don't ask you don't get lol and you got nothing to lose!!
