    TfL wheelchair priority

Just wasn't very clear in the video if she made any effort to ask them to fold the buggy prior to the recording. She has a fatal misunderstanding of the policy ("Priority only applies if the space is empty" - wtf does this even mean, in what world is that "Priority"?) so I struggle to sympathise...

    Signal berth codes?

There has been a track circuit failure at Linford Street Junction for quite a while now. Obviously they are under no pressure to fix it. Not sure the curve has been used since 707s moved from Waterloo to Gillingham (Kent). The berth originally had 'TCF' but it's been changed to 'FAIL'.

Southeastern staff claimed Anytime ticket tied to specific train

That is correct, but OP has not stated whether that happened or not. So I am surprised members are able to declare with such conviction that it would not be a fruitful endeavour. And the quite a lot (dare I say majority?) of customer facing Southeastern staff now have BWCs. The OPs account...

    Mildmay Line meltdown (28/05)

Noticed a number of cancellations on the SLL route as well.

Southeastern staff claimed Anytime ticket tied to specific train

And we don’t know that they weren’t turned on? If OP is unsure about this (whether the staff in question were wearing BWC and whether they were recording), surely it follows that the should submit the request anyway as there is a chance it might be fruitful? And there’s little to lose? (Even...

    TfL wheelchair priority

Here is a video doing the rounds on Twitter https://x.com/saskiaaa_____/status/2092675130744819754?s=46 A father with their son in a wheelchair are denied boarding from a London bus while multiple buggies occupy the wheelchair area. The driver tells the father that priority only applies “if...

Southeastern staff claimed Anytime ticket tied to specific train

So they have video evidence of the encounter, for their own records? Especially if the staff in question had Body Worn video Cameras. And especially if Southeastern go onto deny the wrongdoing of their staff/reject refund requests?

Southeastern staff claimed Anytime ticket tied to specific train

Steve White is still MD of Southeastern/Kent route. I don't think an attempt to reach out would go amiss. I believe the MD of LNER was responsive to a very similar situation on the forum? Either way, I'm sure this matter can be dealt with by way of a formal complaint.

    Sidings east of Ebbsfleet

They are called Church Path Pitt Sidings. I don't think they are used anymore. I believe they used to have a high amount of vandalism 1787616040 After a lengthy search, I've found this which I read a couple months back...

    TfL wheelchair priority

I respect your perspective and appreciate you have experience w/ some of these issues. I think it is doused in naivety however. You have an idealist notion of what can be done, and in an ideal world I'm sure it would work. But in the real world, the police are already stretched thin. The...

GWR two passengers left behind at Paddington

It's a funny video. i've seen some comments on Twitter calling it racism etc, but I don't think that is what has happened here. I agree that boarding the luggage would've caused the train to depart late. The fact that the service isn't showing on here anymore suggests to me that it's been...

    TfL wheelchair priority

What is your practical suggestion for a policy then? It doesn't really matter if common law supports it. It simply is not practical for an operator to require their drivers to begin manhandling passengers upon refusal to vacate the space. It certainly is not in the job description, and not...

    TfL wheelchair priority

The point was made that despite it being law, that means nothing if not enforced. And as mentioned numerous times now, operators are not able to forcibly eject on this basis. And even if they were… ….effectively making it first come, first serve.
