No,this is practical handling training on 319's tomorrow is their pass out day. Incidentally this is the last week of using Crewe for practical handling purposes. Any further trainees will be doing it over the chat moss.

Northern are actually quite good at recruiting from a diverse section of society and this includes older members. Then again the logic stacks up if they recruited from a certain age group sooner or later you'd have everybody retiring within a few years of one another and all the headaches that...

On the 319 course,theory is done Wednesday-Saturday followed by practical handling Sunday and Monday with a pass out on Tuesday. Hence the trains running to Crewe on these days only.
