Saw this on the GWR Enthusiasts Facebook page, there is a fire on the station footbridge at Paignton Station.
All trains currently cancelled.

Something I’ve been meaning to ask for a while…
Before buses/coaches had annual testing (pre 1980s) and had a seven year certificate of fitness when new, how did a small operator without access to their own large workshop facilities manage to get the vehicle prepared for a test?

Just seen this on TrentBarton’s Facebook, fewer services out of Meadow Road this morning….
“ Due to a police incident in Derby, we have been unable to move buses from our Meadow Road depot.
At this moment in time (6:30am) the following services are not running:

I’m sure I saw a photo of it stood in plain livery post repair in the yard at Langley Mill.
Then again, my memory is not what is once was, so I’m probably wrong!!

Random question….
I understand that when the units began to get scrapped, a scrap unit was moved to the loading point between two operational units.
Is this still the case, and if so what happens when they get down to the last set?
