TGV double deckers are built to GB+.
HS2 is GC:
Platform height is not a problem for double decker trains. In fact, in a sense, it's better as you can position the doors above the bogies creating more space for seats on the lower deck.
The infrastructure itself is the same gauge as HS1 - UIC GC which is the largest continental gauge permitting the largest double decker trains as long as they only stay on HS2.
As far as I know HS2 will not have any British gauge platforms. Rather all trains will have extendable platforms. HS1...
The yellow is useless. Anyone can see the bright lights and if they can't then they will definitely miss the yellow front.
This isn't about colours at all but about triggering a defensive reaction from the brain. The light reflected from the yellow panel will reach the human's eye at the same...
