I saw a solitary 387 (I think 118) going to Bedford this morning at Blackfriars - it was at about 8:30 and I think it may have been 1W81. As per the latest diagrams I think this was not meant to be run by a 387. Can anyone shed some light on what may have happened?

Is it correct to assume that they will enter into service on the Bedford/Brighton route, and that a pair of 319's will be taken out of service instead?
