Advance seat reservations with bicycles

I travelled from Colwyn Bay to Filey and back for a short holiday last week, complete with bicycle. I thus had seat reservations and also cycle reservations for the two legs which offered them (a total of 14 tickets!). Strangely I was given seat reservations in coach A of a Class 185 with bike...
