Post is mostly moved at night, and very little of it is in central London where the "chaos" was.
Seems like an ass covering measure but is stuck me as funny.
A flippant answer would be they have spare staff from the Cambrian and possibly a spare unit or two?:D
But I'm impressed with all my recent travels and there have been a lot.
:D
Looking for a watch on fleabay and I saw this "beauty":

Reading the description I saw:
WHAT...
I believe NASA has cost $600Bn since 1958. In 1966 it was 4% of the GDP and that was the highest.
ESA cost's 4Bn Euro a year, divided between all the members.
Although we are talking massive amounts, given it's accomplishments it's peanuts.
Given that the Russians have told NASA to "Use a trampoline" to get their guys to the ISS, Might be a good time to invest in a "galactic taxi" service.
( Yes I'm aware that NASA are about to start using the Shuttle replacement)
:D
Following my nephews visit I have 2 questions:
How many unstaffed stations are there?
How much does it cost to power the infrastructure (sigs/points/third rail OHL/lights etc) without any trains operating? Imagine a Christmas day without any traffic.
And.......go!
:D
:D
A nephew asked that question today.
He has a point, why not a HST in BR colours, less favouritism?
