My daughter and boyfriend went to Manchester from Liverpool, I think with Northern, and it cost them £18 each way, they didn't prebook them. I thought at the time that's steep but I haven't been personally on the train between those stations for donkey's years.

Does anybody know why the rake of sleeper carriages normally kept at Kidderminster moved up towards Bridgnorth today. They were pulled by Mayflower, I spotted it on the railcam on Youtube at Highley this afternoon at about 4pm. Just wondering why they were moved.

Correct, it is the Queensway Tunnel that has two branches off to the docks at both the Birkenhead side and Liverpool side. The Kingsway Tunnel did have plans originally for a branch to Wallasey docks but this didn't happen.
