All depends on how much work the yard has for overtime. Operatives In my yard on a lower basic salary but higher rates of overtime from Preston are earning 38k+ but like MT18 says never bank on having the overtime

Hi biscuit I kept all my tickets when I started just have to complete couple of online assesments to keep them. I was offered a job in April and started in July but I suppose it's going to different in each depot. Congratulations and good luck.
