I am due to start route learning soon and just wondered if anyone had any tips on taking notice/ typing them up. I have seen several staff with little booklets that they have designed with all the things you need to know about a route.
Not sure how these can be created and didn't know if...
Thanks Guys,
I will be based at Bristol Temple Meads. As a newbie do they put you on a route for a while to let you get the hang of it or are you expected to know them all straight away?
Also what sort of hours are the shifts as its only a 35 hour working week.
I have just been successful in getting a job as conductor for GWR.
Just wanted to know what to expect before I start.
Do you learn one route and stay on it or move around? What sort of shift patterns can be expected?
Anything useful I should know?
Thanks in advance for any responses :)
Just wanted to know if anyone who works for GWR knows the link to order uniform?
I have just been offered the job as Conductor but the link I have been given... gwruniforms.com doesn't work?
Any help would be appreciated!

What sort of things can I expect at the medical? Also how long is the training is it a mix of classroom based learning and on the job...
