Bus services you think are useless.

In Bicester the first 21 of the day starts at Chesterton. There is currently absolutely no other public transport to the village during the day and this has been like this since 2016! This changes from 20th September when the village gets a full day service back for the first time in 10 years.

Bus services you think are useless.

Over in Northern Ireland, I can mention the 95c from Enniskillen to Rosslea.....on a non school day you only have a 17:10 from Enniskillen, the morning journey is school days only! It's 10 miles from Rosslea to the nearest point a bus route runs.

Stagecoach South West - Fleet News & Discussion

I see common sense has prevailed and the 6 and 6A work through on most journeys again from 3rd September. However Bude is up for closure in September, so I wonder where the Bude starter will run from September as it’s a long dead run from Barnstable...

I think us at Aircoach are the only Operations outside the the UK to track on bus times. As we're not in the UK I guess it just gets the tracking information straight from ticketer information?

First South West (Kernow & Buses of Somerset)

But then St Austell or Truro stations are not exactly central, so there won't be much in the difference. So unless your going to or from the station area the bus could well be just as quick.

The 27 is withdrawn totally between Cornwall Services and Bodmin. The first two and last two journeys still make it to or from Cornwall Services.

    Worst Purchase/ Takeover/ Acquisition

Buses ETC never bought Velvet and Western Greyhound. It was employees who at one time worked for Buses ETC that bought them.

    London Buses Discussion

Some printed timetables are still produced on a very very small scale, for very low frequency routes. There was one printed in 2013 for the R5/R10 then a few years later for the 549. These were only delivered or found locally around the route.

Trivia: Bus Routes With Most Repeated Sections Of Route / Longest Double-run

The 34 in Cornwall, has a double run on a double run, not sure how many routes can meet that accolade. First double run to serve Ruan Minor then another while doing that, another double run to serve Kuggar. Also has a double run school days only to Gunwalloe however those journeys do not do the...

EU legislation and bus routes more than 50 km in length

In Ireland we do have domestic rules. They are different to the UK rules with only the 5.5 hour driving spells and 30 min breaks being the same. Max driving can be 11 hours and you must have 24 hours off after your 6th day. If you reduce down to 9 hours rest you must compensate it with 12 hours...

    Arriva exiting Cannock

D&G being smaller will have smaller overheads then Arriva...Just look at Sevenoaks too, Arriva pulled out but Go Coach seem to make it work.

They are only on the X5 temporarily while the coaches get screens. You are not going to paint temporary buses are you?
