Contract for the 23rd November start date at Bedford arrived today. Just going through it, all very real now.

I think that it might be based on when you applied?? I applied back in February but because of an issue their end I didn't have my assessments till April. My DMI was 1st June and my medical on the 12th. I see that there are some who had their assessments and interview before me so I don't know...

Well done ml, I think everyone on this thread knows how much this means to you. I'm pleased for everyone that finally has a date. I just hope more people get that call today.

No, the 30th suited my circumstances better so went for that. I though an extra week doesn't really make too much difference.

Thanks, it was a nice surprise to get the call, definitely wasn't expecting it until at least the new year.

Been offered two start dates for Bedford. 23rd and 30th November. Went for the 30th, suits me better. Got the call at 2pm, was surprised not to see any other people posting about offers.

Bedford has room at the depot and they leased a couple of classrooms just up from the station on Bromham Rd, that's what I've been told anyway.

Ditto, I'm 2.5 miles from Bedford station but my current commute is only about 5 minutes. I'd be lying if I said the money wasn't an important factor, the training period will be tough financially but it'll be worth it. Does anyone know if you get any extra shifts when you're with your trainer...

Unless it's changed the computer tests and the MMI are done about two weeks after the paper tests.
