I guess it varies depending on what train company. Usually you will be informed before you go what tests you will be doing, and you get sent practice materials.

This is good advice! Don’t second guess what they want, give honest answers about what you would genuinely do.

I would contact them again and just explain what stages you have already passed. It makes sense for them to call you in for DMI as they have spent time and money getting you through the first two stages, so nothing to lose by contacting them. Good luck!

Yes, this one is ridiculous! There is another one though that is much more like the real thing and looks for the same 5 things each time.
