A reasonable performance by us with a young team missing a few experienced players. Our normal game plan, of building from the back and getting goals from midfield, was probably never going to work against a Premier League side.
You've been offered an instalment plan, what the hell more do you think you should get? I know this is blunt but you are being offered very reasonable terms and still think you're being hard done by. My you really seem to be struggling with the idea that you are not the victim here.
That will be the same rail industry that created a shortage of drivers by recruiting from other TOCs rather than from outside. Let's not pretend that the grade hasn't benefitted hugely from privatisation.
I'll let people who actually work in control answer that regarding laptops. Phones they probably have but they'll be set to the individual's number not the control desk number
Who is going to issue them with the laptops and mobile phones on a Saturday night or Sunday morning, and ensure they've got all the relevant software loaded?
Although that SPT might have been more than two miles away. And another driver wouldn't have been able to make an emergency call. Let's not get into the idea that everything was always better.
If they were to do that at the Premier Inn round the corner from me, it would fail on the 'nearby' tag! It's an interesting one because there are no nearby restaurants, apart from MacDonalds and Starbucks.
