Our new ticketing site is now live! Using either this or the original site (both powered by TrainSplit) helps support the running of the forum with every ticket purchase! Find out more and ask any questions/give us feedback in this thread!
Both NRE and Thameslink's own website will allow this fare and service combination.
This service leaves St Pancras at 17:18 but is this not the original posters Outward journey? Thus meaning that restriction does not apply.
I think using it for delay repay would be more trouble than it's worth. Not least because a lot of late arriving passengers will avoid putting the ticket in the barrier to stop it being retained.
The WebTIS sites will amend you to another train on the same ticket type even if cheaper are available automatically. I've not had opportunity to try the same on the Trainline ones
As the tiers of Advance will almost always fill up cheapest first I don't understand why people would want to change to a cheaper advance. All you do is lose ticket value if you ever want to change again at a later date. Changing to the same tier always makes the most sense if available.
I've never seen railcards defaulting myself. Have you inadvertently saved it as a account preference at some point? If you log in and go to MyAccount and look in the Favourites section you can set or remove a default railcard
This simply looks like HT have not set up their WebTIS site to sell fares for the neccessary route codes.
You should tell them this and it should be really easy for them to get them added.
Its been discussed at length on here before but they way the revenue and costs are currently allocated makes it pretty much inevitable that an independent site will end up charging fees at some point. If they don't the economics just do not stack up. The current system is very much in the...

It looks like an easement must have been put in place as I am getting offered the £51.90 via Bath Spa off peak return on the FGW site now during the works.
If you really really like rail replacement bus services you can also add avoid Swindon to your search to force them out but I'm not sure...
The fields offered are controlled by the train operator of the service being booked not the WebTIS site you are on as each TOC supports a different list.
But all WebTIS (and any other booking engine) can do is pass these preferences to NRS. It is NRS that allocates the actual seat.
I've...
Removing a ticket from a basket will free up the quota immediately as calls can be made to NRS to free up the seat.
But as no doubt most of us do, typical Internet behaviour is just to close the window.
When I choose the seasons to London Terminals on the Southern site it's showing...
