Pay for annual season on two credit cards?

Buy e-vouchers with one card then use the second to buy the ticket part paying with the e-voucher?

Is it just me, or is this wording confusing?

Both NRE and Thameslink's own website will allow this fare and service combination. This service leaves St Pancras at 17:18 but is this not the original posters Outward journey? Thus meaning that restriction does not apply.

Is ticket data collected by ticket barriers?

I think using it for delay repay would be more trouble than it's worth. Not least because a lot of late arriving passengers will avoid putting the ticket in the barrier to stop it being retained.

Virgin a Advanced Ticket Alteration of travel date

The WebTIS sites will amend you to another train on the same ticket type even if cheaper are available automatically. I've not had opportunity to try the same on the Trainline ones

Virgin a Advanced Ticket Alteration of travel date

As the tiers of Advance will almost always fill up cheapest first I don't understand why people would want to change to a cheaper advance. All you do is lose ticket value if you ever want to change again at a later date. Changing to the same tier always makes the most sense if available.

There were some earlier issues. All fixed now.

Southern Day Saver - existence & availability?

The Daysave ticket became temporarily unavailable when they switched to their new site. Read into that what you will

VT East Coast extended booking window ticket delivery options?

I've never seen railcards defaulting myself. Have you inadvertently saved it as a account preference at some point? If you log in and go to MyAccount and look in the Favourites section you can set or remove a default railcard

Isle of Wight through bookings not available on WEBTIS

This simply looks like HT have not set up their WebTIS site to sell fares for the neccessary route codes. You should tell them this and it should be really easy for them to get them added.

    Redspottedhanky fee

Its been discussed at length on here before but they way the revenue and costs are currently allocated makes it pretty much inevitable that an independent site will end up charging fees at some point. If they don't the economics just do not stack up. The current system is very much in the...

Two reference numbers for one booking

I'm guessing its because TTL doesn't send the orders into the TOD system immediately like some of the other TIS do. Rather it batches them up instead. If later on it has an issue because one of the tickets has an issue, this way they can still send the others rather than lose the whole...

Being charged extra due to engineering works?

It looks like an easement must have been put in place as I am getting offered the £51.90 via Bath Spa off peak return on the FGW site now during the works. If you really really like rail replacement bus services you can also add avoid Swindon to your search to force them out but I'm not sure...

    TPE reservations in 1st Class

The fields offered are controlled by the train operator of the service being booked not the WebTIS site you are on as each TOC supports a different list. But all WebTIS (and any other booking engine) can do is pass these preferences to NRS. It is NRS that allocates the actual seat. I've...

1 ticket left at this price - I want it + another one

Removing a ticket from a basket will free up the quota immediately as calls can be made to NRS to free up the seat. But as no doubt most of us do, typical Internet behaviour is just to close the window.

St Johns to London Terminals season - Valid to Victoria?

When I choose the seasons to London Terminals on the Southern site it's showing... The following London stations are available for travel with the chosen ticket: London Blackfriars(BFR) City Thameslink(CTK) London Cannon Street(CST) London Charing Cross(CHX) London Bridge(LBG) London...

Changes to FGW Advance fares from 17th May 2015

I noticed the trainline was at one point just neglecting to show any tickets that needed a mandatory reservation, without any sort of warning. So I assume any time NRS is down buying from the trainline is even more expensive!

    Darlington to King's Cross(2 people/one rewards ticket)

The best I can think of is to book the rewards ticket on its own then book another ticket on the same service as a seperate journey in the basket. After booking you can then use the change of seat reservation page to get two seat reservations next to each other. If the person with the DBS...

    Darlington to King's Cross(2 people/one rewards ticket)

I'm wondering if the original poster means they want to book one rewards ticket and have the other Adult traveliing as the carer on the disabled railcard. If that is what they are trying to do then this won't be possible through the website.

The 'Trains calling at' box is now back in place.

"Trains calling at..." option on timetables screen

The loss of the 'trains calling at' field is an unintended consequence of the work that added overtaken trains to this page. It should hopefully re-appear soon.
