ICP isn't the event. They are an exhibitor at a renewable and low carbon energy event. That event is called "All-Energy"

Industrial Clutch Products (ICP) are exhibiting at the All-Energy Exhibition and Conference as per this listing on the event website...
I do wonder if the Waterside merging with Southampton as part of the local government changes in 2 years time will revive the ferry (or the railway for that matter).
If that does turn out to be the issue then there is perhaps the possibility of extending the platforms west and decommissioning the eastern end of the platforms closest to the bridge.
