Can't see that happening, the 18a was cut again recently to allow Worst to run one bus each way, as I was recently after checking the price one way between Grimesthorpe and Gleadless Townhead £12, including a £2 peak surcharge with good ol' Veezu (add on another £1 for the driver)
My point is...
Must admit one I've forgot until now is the 56 between Lincoln, Horncastle and Skegness, the views of Lincolnshire wolds is a really good run, pleasantly surprised with the x17 between Matlock and Chesterfield
257 between Sheffield and Bakewell is worth a trip going round Dambusters country and Yorkshire bridge, then through the villages including Eyam on the way into Bakewell.
I wouldn't bank on South Pennine being able to take on any more work. There new bus depot is round the corner from me and has a small work shed, which would 3 buses and a parking area which would hold another 2. Tm or Andrews would be the best bet to pick up any extra journeys on the 272
Having lived in walkley, it will be a ruddy nightmare going forward. I still have bad thoughts for these changes after the 95 used to run through to Beighton, Sothall, Crystal Peaks and Killamarsh years ago. It didn't work then... And now ?
Already done in Sheffield and the money isn't used for Buses / Roads etc.....
