Hi there. As far as I am aware it should always be the assessment centre before your interview. I didn't get asked any questions about scotrail in my interview but I know another candidate who was asked a lot about scotrail. It's very hard to predict. As for the process what you have done up to now sounds about right, do you have a date for your next appointment? Hi gaz. So could you tell me the rundown of how it happens?

I've had my application accepted. I was sent an online assessment test to fill out, which I have passed. I have received an email back saying I have an interview coming up. From what I have seen people have been invited to Assessment days before getting their Interview? Have I missed something here or are they doing it the other way around first?

I'm studying my head off at the moment reading every detail of everything I can about the job and First Scotrail, I even have my uncle who is a train driver throwing me tips.

You heard anything yet mate?

My interview is also at 11.30. That's strange! Unless they have everyone in together and call them in?

hi Mate, don't know if they will carry the results over but I have read that in the past they have used the results of the assessment in the interview. Moving the closing date should not make any difference to us as they really have until autumn 2015 before service starts so they have plenty time.
