Any word on where the X56 coaches are going?

With the X56 being withdrawn next week how many buses are there each hour in future from Halbeath P&R to Edinburgh?

Looks like the August changes have been pulled from the website

So the X57 is changing to basically follow the old X52 route, pity it’s taken a year to work this out Interesting it says on journeys to Edinburgh only, does this mean it comes from Edinburgh to Halbeath P&R, then back to Edinburgh via Dunfermline East?

Don’t think the X57 has been on time since it started, totally unreliable and doomed to failure already!

Is the X57 doing a loop, I.e. from Halbeath P&R via Amazon and back to Halbeath P&R via Greenshank Dr? Still think it would be better to do what the X52 did (Lapwing Dr, Aberdour Rd, Dunlin Dr), it could then go to Halbeath P&R, turn round and head back to Edinburgh the same way, using the A823...

The X57 would surely be better running Halbeath P&R - Duloch - Lapwing Dr - A823 - Ferrytoll than this pointless route than nobody will use st the moment! And the 1/2 change to an 81/82 again, they tried this years ago and it was stupid then and still is!

What’s the point in the X57, it only really serves Duloch Tesco by the looks of it, and after cutting the X52 in August they are now cutting the 5. They have lost the plot!

Rennie’s haven’t operated on the X52 route since pre Covid I think. Crazy decision to pull this off.

X52 Morning 1st and 3rd departures- Dunfermline B8 Morning 2nd departure - Glenrothes B13 or E300 Evening all departures - Dunfermline Scania E400 Massive backwards step, they’ve built up a customer base over 6 years and those services are NOT quiet leaving/arriving at Duloch Park...

The issue is the X52 is £7 day return from Duloch Park to Edinburgh. That only applies to direct journeys so it will be considerably more expensive in future. A single on the 5 from Ferrytoll to Duloch is £3.50 (I think a return is £5), so your looking at almost double the fare in future!

I wonder if the new service 5 means the end for the X52 between Duloch and Edinburgh?

So the express services change in 5 weeks, surely timetables should be out soon?

East Scotland are using E300 single decker buses on a lot of runs as they are short of coaches
