Have any of the Preston Olympians made it up to Morecambes back wall yet, do we know which ones they are sending up, dont they have more than 6 N reg examples? How did they decide whoch ones were split between Preston and Morecambe, is down to mileage or just a decision made following an...

Any idea why Kendal have "turned down" the offer of the Olympians - mind you they have had a hard life and quite a few are apparantly pretty knackered. Wonder if it is a capacity issue - what is the difference between the Volvo and Leyland Olypians?

Have been out and about in the Lakes today, usual stuff on 555's, however OT services not too great - 1x OT Volvo Oly, 2x OT Tridents, 1x B10, 1 1x 55 plate Trident (Lakeland Pathfinder Vinyls), not great considering the nice sunny weather, even other customers were complaining to the drivers...

If 42545 is the old S638MGA, she is now in service in all over white for Bon Chaunce coaches of Out Rawcliffe (between Garstang and Blackpool). When I spotted her she was also displaying the old Stagecoach fleet number on the inside. They are using the vehicle on school contract for Garstang...

Where did the 2 Jonks from Preston end up going when they were taken off the X61's. Also, does anyone have a fleet list for Stagecoach NW that details fleet number, reg number and depot for all the vehicles. Used to have one but lost it when my PC dumped its hard drive. Thanks

I have just seen an H reg Olympian on the 42 heading from Garstang back to Lancaster. I can't understand why these old vehicles are being used on front line services, should they not have been down graded to school services only? I know the 42 is not a low floor service but even an S/D B10...

The evening Service 42 through Garstang around 2220hrs was run by one of the KLCH Merc varios last night - pumping lots of black smoke from it as well.

For interest, K762 DAO, the B10M that was painted in all over whits before sale from Barrow? is currently parked up in a HGV Car Park behind Roadrunner Tyres at Forton near Garstang (has been there for sometime according to workmen I spoke to). No legals have been applied and it doesnt appear...

I have heard it on the radio that someone is threatening to jump off a bridge. It has been closed since 1130am. Just hope they can talk to whoever it is and get him the professional help he needs. My thoughts are with them and their family at this time.
