So sorry to hear this but you did very well to get this far.
I too had the dreaded email recently and the feedback that I received was that some of my answers needed to be more tailored to the question.
Did you complete an assessment prior to the interview which was a concentration, ticket...
Thank you for your reply kelv.
I have already completed an online aptitude test prior to the telephone interview so maybe I have swerved the saville test or anything similar.
I'll keep you posted!
Hi there,
I hope that you don't mind me asking but I've just passed my telephone interview for a conductor role at GWR and was wondering if you could tell me what to expect at the assessment day please?
Thank you in advance
Evie
I was just reading your posts with interest as I have recently passed a telephone interview for a conductor role at GWR.
Does anyone know if the next stage would involve a saville test or something similar? Also, excuse my ignorance, but what is a saville test?
Thanking you in advance. :D
Hi Loco 123,
Thank you for your kind information.
What kind of tests were they that required the practice material and was it a role with GWR?
I have attended an assessment before and I had to do a concentration test so I just wondered if it was a similar thing.
Thank you again...
Hi, congratulations on your new post.
I have applied for a conductor role and was wondering if you had to attend an assessment and then an interview? If so, what was involved and what type of questions they ask in the interview?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
:D
I was placed in a talent pool in February of this year, as I passed an assessment for a multi-role and was told this would last for 6 months. I then went for an interview 4 weeks later for a singular role which was seasonal and was told afterwards, :cry:that I was unsuccessful and had to wait...
I wonder how someone who doesn't know me feels it appropriate to question my sincerity?
It's awful when you don't get through, I've been there myself and had to wait another 6 months! :(
You could apply for another post, there seems to be lots of opportunities at Exeter X X
What do you mean 'I bet you are?'

You could always apply for another role? They were advertising for a Gateline assistant at Exeter last week :):
