On a related topic and also an interesting fact today saw the first use of a class 395 for an entirely classic service. Due to no available stock a 395 formed the 0815 Ashford to Victoria via Maidstone East service! A 395 in Maidstone, a sign of things to come............. :wink:

This is completely genuine and as I said at this stage we are deciding how best to promote the draw and how much appeal it will have. The draw will be conducted under licence and everyone who enters will be made completely aware of what the project is for which the money will be used.

I can honestly say that this train is absolutely and positively the dogs jacobs! it is a dream to drive and very comfortable for the passengers too. Southeastern have had drivers form Eurostar beating a path to the door to drive them but have had to recruit from within first. As for being slower...
