Hi there,totally appreciate everything you say m8 regarding the recruitment process,& understand your disappointment.I initially applied for a Conductors job in December 2009,was informed in January 2010 my application had passed the shortlisting but owing to high volumes of applicants & lack of jobs it was being put on hold but if a similiar vacancy occured i would be contacted.My application continued to state awaiting shortlisting for the next few months,then in the April it suddenly changed to unsucessful,then i discovered the positions were re-advertised,when i contacted the HR department i was told as some months had passed they had decided to re-advertise to get new applicants but would welcome my application again !!! (Crazy or what )was then told 6 weeks later shortlisting hadnt taken place.Then spoke to a guy on here who was contacted 2 days before the closing date to attend an interview !!!!!
