There is - mostly medicals I believe. It's just south of the village, about half a mile from the closest level crossing, and just over a mile from where the original Strensall station was (Lords Moor Lane LC).
The Hospital station seems to re-emerge just before every local election, just like...

Although that was on the Beverley line, rather than the Scarborough line. Where that crossed the A64 would have been the perfect place for a York NE P&R; would probably have caught a lot of Leeds-bound commuters as well, given a decent service...
