it must be unerving at first just waiting for it to start slowing on its own! I dont know if you drive or not but do drivers or "train Operators" prefer ato or manual?
so is there some sort of chime or bell in the cab that lets the driver know it haas started to brake. i was at bond street once and a central line train came in and the driver had his feet up on dashboard! i think i would have my hand on handle just in case!!
Im aware that the central and vic lines are ato. I was wondering if anyone had ever been on a train that overshot the platform or just went straight through by mistake?
Are the drivers likely to get into trouble for not realising that the train isnt going to stop in time?
i have to say i love the sound the jubilee line train make when leaving and arriving at stations.also like the central line trains, feel very quick when leaving stations
