Eurostar booking horizon extended to 358 days

Per an email yesterday, Eurostar is now bookable up to 358 days in advance This doesn't seem to have reached their website yet, which still says 6-8 months. It also doesn't seem to mean the cheapest tickets are necessarily bookable that far in advance, for example looking at London to Brussels...

A quarter of Bulgarian train services operated by private TOC from December

This may be true, but one area I'd argue the UK is a textbook example of is ticketing remaining one unified system. Many countries which have come later have failed to get this right, to serious passenger detriment. At least it sounds like Bulgaria is planning to avoid the same mistake

Great British Railways: Station identity and livery unveiling (09/12/25)

Ignoring the actual livery, I'm a big fan of the simplicity of the logo itself, hope that is more representative of the overall branding style

    Castlefield Viaduct park (Manchester Metrolink)

Is that structural or just how it would fit into the rest of the existing/future network?

    Castlefield Viaduct park (Manchester Metrolink)

The existing National Trust "park" on part of the unused Castlefield viaduct is to be extended and made permanent. Was there ever any realistic possibility of an expanded tram service running over this, or are there structural/other reasons it would never have been possible? I'm aware there are...

    Stuttgart-Budapest sleeper in September

I had check MAV but just tried again to make sure, although it lets you get further than ÖBB it then says for me "Failed reservation. The service has been locked." Which is at least more reassuring!

    Stuttgart-Budapest sleeper in September

Thanks, that would be great news if the case, it's the fact that the 28th September is bookable that had me worried it wasn't just a sales block

    Stuttgart-Budapest sleeper in September

Oh dear, I'm amazed it seems to be completely booked, in both directions, for so many days already! Thank you though that's a good tip, I am ultimately trying to get to Bucharest so looks like via Villach could be an option (albeit a bit longer/less convenient)

    Stuttgart-Budapest sleeper in September

Looking at booking Stuttgart-Budapest overnight (EN 50237) in mid-September, it is showing on oebb.at as "booked up" every day between the 1st and 27th of September as far as I can tell. I'm hoping this is just some sort of temporary block on booking tickets. Is this the case or am I actually...

Extensive Nightjet (Germany) cancellations in spring 2025

Ah that's great news, thank you for your insight! I haven't had a corresponding update email but possibly they're not immediate, nice to see it back in the timetable at least

Extensive Nightjet (Germany) cancellations in spring 2025

I am booked Munich-Brussels on the 20th March, had an email today cryptically saying something has changed. Following the timetable link, it looks like NJ40468 is now finishing in Aachen (although there's nothing there to suggest that this is an alteration to the timetable). Does anyone know if...

LNER change of advance ticket refund advice

Is this definitely the case? LNER have said but I'm not sure whether my position is supported by any terms and conditions

LNER change of advance ticket refund advice

Thanks, I've been in touch with customer services (as the automatic email just says rejected without a reason), I just don't get the impression they're reading my emails or looking at what was uploaded to the online form too closely (which would have shown the new ticket was booked through...
