What type will the replacements be?

Is it the slimline card only machine that is out of service? One of these at Balham and Battersea Park have been covered up.

Great Western have replaced all of their Fujitsu Star machines with Avocet.

I've heard that a ticket machine has been installed at St Georges but is currently covered so it is planned to reopen sometime soon.

Further to my previous reply, regarding the Donations machine on the East Kent railway, I've found it on Facebook. Search for "PERTIS Machines" and scroll down to 21 July 2020. There's some photos of the machine including the inside.

A machine previously in use at Raynes Park has been preserved at the Network SouthEast Museum based at the East Kent Railway at Shepherdswell, Kent. Once working it will be used as a donations machine. I found this on their website some time ago that showed a photo of the machine but can't find...

I have another ticket showing this for the same journey issued a week later.

Presumably similar gates are in use at Southampton Central. The attached ticket issued on 30 January is overprinted with NOT VALID FOR TRAVEL

Manchester London Road was renamed Piccadilly in 1960 so they must have been in use there before the renaming.
