Agreed. Personally I’m unable to go outside in public for fear of encountering people in masks. So the sooner this is all over and normality returns the better.

I also have a phobia of face coverings which is still affecting my ability to go outside or be in places where I might encounter people wearing them. I agree there is a lot of irrational fear on both sides of this problem and the current messaging is not helpful to anyone.

I was previously a regular user of trains and was attempting to visit all the stations but I won't be returning until this misleading nonsense is gone for good. Rather than making me feel safe it's keeping me away from the railways.

Couldn’t agree more, 2019 normal can’t come soon enough. I’ve been following this forum for months without commenting. I’m encouraged and thankful that there are at least some like minded people in the world.

Thank you, to add to the confusion I was able to purchase the ticket on gwr.com but not through TheTrainline.

I have purchased a £10 anytime day return ticket from West Ealing to Gerrards Cross “valid only via Greenford”. Presumably this ticket is valid between Greenford and West Ruislip on LU Central Line services? Or is it a ticket which shouldn’t be available?
