I find some of the Newark North Gate connection comments interesting as the EMT log is full on a daily basis of Lincoln/Grimsby trains being held at the request of VTEC for late running Kings Cross services for connections.....

The booked HST will operate on 1S01/1S02 as usual, it's the second "additional" path that will be replaced by the engine and coaches. So they've actually maintained capacity for the BH weekend with both additional summer paths operating. I'm sure they are hoping it wont be full of enthusiasts...

It looks like EMT and TPE are running some extra trains to Cleethorpes tomorrow for the National Armed Forces Day celebrations. Will it be the usual rolling stock for the route? Good to see the TOCs making the effort to support these kind of things

There are several weeks of engineering work and they aren't all the same. The block on the west curve week is between Ely North and Ely. Other weeks see EMT turning around at Peterborough if I remember correctly

The additionals are a mix of 222/7 and HSTs on the Notts - Lincoln route and 3 car 15x's on the Local routes
