I read daily and more if there is something interesting ongoing but rarely post usually because I have nothing useful to contribute .

My grandsons were born and live in Peterborough and definitely have an accent although slight. They do the 'a' in bath and castle as 'a' not 'ar' and there seems to be a lack of tts in butter and splatter. It is subtle but it is there.

We saw it this morning through Ash. Locos both ends but not sure what they were I'm afraid. I check RTT every morning for anything unusual and picked this up.

Thanks everyone. Card now purchased and I have the perfect excuse to kidnap the grandsons and take them on railway adventures. For this trip, they have decided to drive to Stevenage and come into London from there.

I did have wonder about that but as the eldest turns five in May, we will need to pay for him after that. The family rail card means we can take them out and about over the summer too. I think it will pay for itself in a year. Also if the two named people are me and my daughter, each of us...

Thank you. I knew about validity for one under five - it was just the other one I wasn't sure of. I know someone who has been using a F&F card since her child was a baby. Chances of this two year old needing a nap are zilch, sadly!
