The last ETUG meeting reported that while Hertford loop will see improvements…
Welwyn Garden City Line Status: No significant service changes are planned for the London to Welwyn Garden City local stopping services for this coming December (2026).
The Enfield Transport Users Group (https://enfieldtransportusergroup.blogspot.com/) is reporting (via its email) that:
A. Great Northern
Hertford Loop services to be 4tph off-peak, with Welwyn services operating 2tph from December 2026.
B. Thameslink
Thameslink Sevenaoks peak hour...
The ETUG minutes form a while back had said Dec 26 was being looked at. Not May. The GDH services starting back from HFN referred to two AM and PM peaks. And I suspect done to remove need for platform staff rather than passengers..
The Enfield Transport Users Group (which includes representatives from bus and rail companies as well as Enfield Council) has ongoing discussions with GTR on this. The latest update from the May meeting was:

Apparently (according to Enfield Transport User Group) a business case for off peak 4tph on Herttford loop is being prepared for Dec 26. As has been said its drivers that are needed.
Noticed that the doors in the last car released at Bowes Park today on a up Moorgate service. Message briefly flashed up on PIS saying doors not in use, but then went back to normal.
Wonder if some work has happened on platform to allow this?
Not released at Harringay or Hornsey.
Not seen this anywhere else, but live disruption map for GTR here https://www.southernrailway.com/travel-information/plan-your-journey/service-status-map
