I'd add that although most internet photos show heavily refurbished units, at least some of LTG's DR1As remain in a much more original, unmodernised condition. I have no idea how many, but they seem to work in a common pool with the modernised ones.

Whippet are using their ex-Flixbus coaches as spares on their local Cambridgeshire routes currently. Being top-spec Neoplan Tourliners they give a very comfortable ride!

The most I've seen to Sutton is one. On a slightly related, brighter note, A2B's new X75 Biggleswade to Cambridge service (which I think is Beds funded, not Cambs) seems to be doing very well - well over half full when I rode it this afternoon, with similar loads every other time I've seen it...

Interestingly the past two times I have been on the franchised T12 route it has been an 8 seat Mercedes minibus, with no destination blinds, a hinged manual front door and no prospect of wheelchair access. Reminds me almost of post-Soviet marshrutka services - hardly a recipe for success...

Shame, yes the loco and stock from the 0915 sits at Cercany until 1537 I think. Hope you enjoyed the scenery though!

Thanks for the information, interesting to know. SWR have confirmed that in this case there is flexibility for me to take the trains around the planned ones if I wish.
