In Serbia and many other ex Yugoslavian countries you must pay some kind of 'platform tax' to access the bus bays in a coach terminal. That's in addition to the coach ticket price itself. Super annoying as a tourist.

I've noted that part of North London Line is closed (Gospel oak to Stratford) from boxing day till the 3rd of January. What's the work that's being done? Is it connected to the KINGS cross works? Seems major if it's closed for so long, busy freight routes out of action if Camden Road is...

Yes here, or if i was a betting man I'd say from the Bakerloo depot at London Road. Seems to be just Victoria and Bakerloo northbound areas, so rules the Central line out for me. Plus not a huge distance to travel in the tunnels.
