I also applied in Feb and want Bedford. What exactly did Trudy say about courses for Bedford then? If there is when are they likely to be? You said about waiting a couple of months, so if thats true then surely they will need to make calls soon or am I just being hopeful!

I never recieved an email to re register. When i phoned up to ask whether i needed to re register they said there was no need as they have printed off all details of applicants in talent pool. Im awaiting Bedford. Had DMI and medical in May/June.

Does anyone know what the implications are for us if TFL are taking control of all the overland trains across London starting 2018. Apparently Thameslink from 2021 but could be as soon as 2018. Will they now need the same number of drivers. It was in the news a few days ago. I have heard that...

On good information Ronke left some time ago now and lyndsey is now on maternity leave. So someone else will be heading up the recruitment team but I dont know who. If courses are due to be filled in January then surely they will have to notify people soon. Fingers crossed..........again!!

Can anyone who has recently started tell me the anticipated length of the training course. I was under the impression that due to the sheer nos of those needed to train that they were looking to compress the course to less than 12.months.

Thanks on your response but rather than reading to much in to rumour and conjecture I will wait to hear from the people who are really in the know, and encourage all others in my position to do thte same.
