    National Express Coaches Discussion

It hasn't been sold, Mobico was a rename of National Express Group in 2023 and is still traded on the London Stock Exchange. https://www.mobicogroup.com/media/news-releases/2023/change-of-name/ National Express Group acquired Alsa (the Spanish based coach company which is now performing better...

West Midlands Trains Industrial Action July/August 2026

Bit frustrating as a passenger that no details of progress or resolution attempts are being published to gauge the issue more deeply.

Which are the best and worst units and stock for Aircon in Heatwave?

Could the question be more around how good maintenance upkeep is? 172s are certainly hit and miss, can be like walking into heaven, arriving into a hot home or steeping right onto a scolding beach depending on how many of the AC units in the coach are working

Tracsis Delay Repay System: Bugs and other UX complaints

That's a feature! I always set my nTrain season ticket's from/to stations as From: "NNETWORK ONE DAY" To: "WEST MIDS DAYRGR" - why should I have to set a to/from station on a zonal ticket? (WMR use the same website system)

    NHS Smokefree DVD

Odd question, asking here as general health care and this is the only forum site I visit these days... When I was in Junior school I remember the NHS smokefree getting cigarettes adverts being iconic. There was a phone line to call which could send a free DVD. I didn't smoke (good job at the...

Trivia: Ticket office with the most minimal opening hours.

Jewellery Quarter has interesting ones: Monday to Thursday: Unavailable Friday: 16:00 - 18:00 Saturday: 11:00 - 13:00, 15:00 - 17:00 Sunday: Unavailable (6 hours per week) There's got to be one somewhere with just an hour or two a week surely...

How to access Thameslink website from outside the UK

I didn't know Distribusion had a UK Rail booking product! Don't like them at all for personal reasons lol It looks like it's tied to the browser language setting. If I change my browsers top "Preferred languages" to German it redirects to the Distribusion site, but set top to English and for me...

GBR Business Units - Thameslink and WMR

WMR including Birmingham/West Midlands suburban? I thought generally more alignment to TfWM/WMCA would have been desired rather than bundling in LNWR and Thameslink? Seems like a plan to take eye balls of Birmingham from an uninformed immediate reactionary view

West Midlands Trains potential strike Fri/Sat 22/23May

Chiltern look to be running an hourly Birmingham Moor Street - Solihull - Dorridge shuttle, has this been done before? The bus ticket acceptance seems odd, no acceptance in for South Snow Hill lines but there is for North Snow Hill lines...

    Bordesley railway station proposed closure

I left it a bit late to get my response in to the consultation... 23:32, deadline 23:59  Don't think the consultation will have any effect but as already implied in my earlier post I am not a fan of the Midlands Rail Hub, it's mainly about increasing medium-distance services, to my...

Birmingham Moor Street Platform 1 Ticket Office

Does anyone remember when the ticket office to platform 1 at Moor Street shut, and maybe further what caused it to shut? (The one to the left as you use the side entrance). I'm sure I have a few vague childhood memories of my mother occasionally using it while I was with her in the...

LNER delay repay site crashes when try to upload paper CCST ticket.

Have you tried using image editing software to reduce the photo size? My thinking is modern smartphone cameras can capture so much detail that leads to huge canvas & image file sizes, so might be the file size is too large?
