    Taunton-Aberdeen off-peak return, code 2V

The 'expert' version of BRfares, then. Is that also why National Rail can't find a valid fare?

    Taunton-Aberdeen off-peak return, code 2V

Thank you. If I may ask, how do you know there would no Maltese Cross if it were an old-fashioned ticket?

    Taunton-Aberdeen off-peak return, code 2V

My wife has this ticket. 'Not valid on any train before 09:30, M-F' is the only restriction on BRfares. Route is Any Permitted'. Is it valid via London? National Rail offers the journey (e.g. 09:52 from Aberdeen) but says it can't find a valid fare. If I understand the routing guide, which says...

Why are people not sad about the disappearance of Edinburgh to London trains in 4 hours??

My ideal train runs on time or 61 minutes late. My experience between Kings Cross and Aberdeen is that > 61 minutes late is commoner.

    LNER delay-repay difficulties

Good point about advance tickets 1765020936 Restarting my laptop, or waiting a couple of days, resolved the problem with uploading tickets. They allow you to abandon the journey, so I told them that's what had happened. Thanks for all replies.

I don't travel to many different places but the ones I do go to tend to reject supersaver tickets.

Trivia: places where another line runs through without a station

Gatley has a station and the Manchester-Chester line runs past the village (at right-angles to the other railway) with no station for miles.

    Scotrail Club 50 £17 tickets

With any other railcard (I think) I can buy tickets online without actually having the card. With this one, you have to have the card before purchase. I also didn't manage to find the page that kkong poster earlier.

    Scotrail Club 50 £17 tickets

thanks, my problem was that I didn't want to buy the card and then find the ticket wasn't suitable for me - I already have a senior card, and living in Surrey, I don't buy so many hot drinks from Scotrail that will repay a £15 upfront payment!

Thank you. They could have said as much - including the return being valid for 30 days regardless - on their website. I'll see to it later tonight.
