First West of England (Bristol, Bath & The West)

At least they have 20 mins to turn around at each end but will be interesting to see it in practice. As with the 20 in Bath you always seem to lose time if the driver has not got their foot to the ground. I think Imperial Park to Temple Meads in 11 mins might be the craziest part. I mean thats...

GWR: no longer possible to book (online) seat or bike reservation except when buying a ticket

They have now reinstated this feature. It still gives you the eticket option but when you click it, it says this cannot be opened as it is just a seat reservation. Not sure how it took nearly 4 months to disable one button but at least it is back.

No I believe the orignial idea was to scrap the X91 and replace it with the 100 but they've opted to keep that route as well. I mean the Chew Valley was certainly due some bus improvements but this seems crazy. Hourly route to Bristol and Bath and a route every 90 minutes to Radstock and the X91...

Is that 100% because the bustimes tracking looks a bit dodgy. Plus I also just took a picture of it on driver training

Wiring an ex GWR first class HST table

Thanks for your help. That answers my main question which is that it's mains voltage which I thought but wasn't 100% as on trains they are mostly used to charge laptops and phones. I have done some more research and found that the live and neutral wire are connected to the L & N on the right...

I got them off Ebay. Have just responded to a DM from the person you are talking about.

Wiring an ex GWR first class HST table

Bit of a random query. I ended up purchasing a couple of first class seats from a GWR HST and it also came with a table. I was wandering if anyone knew how to wire it up to get the plug sockets working and what power source it would need.

First West of England (Bristol, Bath & The West)

to be honest in some ways I'm suprised this hasnt been done before. Makes so much sense when looking at the map and I imagine will be much more sustainable. What is still crazy to me is the pre covid U2 (that was similar to the current 22 with a bigger loop around Twerton) used to run up to...

Sorry yes I havent made it clear for someone not in the know. The U5 has been confined to single deckers ever since a double decker turned left at Twerton Bridge *checks date of article* wow over 2 years ago now https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-somerset-65489111. Their ticket machines warn...

First West of England (Bristol, Bath & The West)

It looks like the reason its happening this way is because it means they can run double deckers on the U3 as heading towards the Uni it avoids the low bridge whilst at the moment all buses heading to Bath Spa Uni are single deckers. The new U5 will also presumably continue as single deck as it...

Amazing and can I just say, slighly off topic, but you're website is amazing. Love being able to search up rovers by station.
