When I lived in London highbury and Islington station sold rail tickets on LUL stock. I remember a very questioning guard when we arrived in lowestoft with a LUL ticket!

At Hexham ticket office, the very helpful man in the office put all 4 of us travelling on the same ticket, much more efficient.

I am going to be attending the NNR Diesel Gala on Saturday and I was wondering-having never been to an NNR gala before-whether the 2 minute connection between platforms at Hot is possible given the length of the car park. For those interested, a timetable is now on the public website. TIA
