I noticed one of options for this is a bus to or from Stockport, with TPE. Is it a reasonable connection or is it better to do a cross platform change (13-14) at Piccadilly with the train. Is the reason for the bus to reduce congestion at Piccadilly?

My claim for the whole journey to TfW was unsuccessful. They have used a 'set process', say TPE caused my delay and have passed my claim onto their Customer Relations. Should I appeal to TfW? Or wait for a response from TPE.

Pleased to say that my delay claim to XC was accepted. Possibly as I had a barcode ticket which was scanned on the GWR service, so my actual journey showed up.

Today's journey from Abergavenny 1805 to Taunton 2020 was delayed. As I caught the slower GWR from Bristol TM I arrived Taunton at 2110, rather than 2040 on the delayed XC. I got the GWR at Bristol as it came in before the XC and had seats. Would it be worth me claiming Dealy Repay?

On Easter Saturday we'll be arriving in Bordeaux on the TGV from Paris at 1714. Then the slow train to Bayonne at 1719 if it's doable, or 1845 if not. What are the chances of making the 5 minute connection? We have interrail so booked on the TGV and can be flexible on the onward train.

And a good bet for an 8 or 9 coach going north.
