    They would probably have to use shortened sets on the preserved railways. Maybe a Grand Central style 2+5 would be the longest, bearing in mind that the mk3s are considerably longer than the preservation standard mk1s.     New Virgin Dvt and Mark 3's

    Saw it yesterday (31st july) at new street. There were 8 painted coaches and a dvt in the beautiful shiny livery which gives a new look to the mark 3s. On the other end was 90029 " The institution of civil engineers" in EWS red and gold.
