I ended up on the delayed 13.15 service, but the whole train was standing room only, then it had to stop twice for a fault with the alarms, but I did eventually make it to BHM. Thanks for all the help.

12.15 is now skipping Leeds they've cancelled the stop, so I'm looking at the delayed 13.15 as the next train.
