    Crosscountry Unreserved Coaches

I ended up on the delayed 13.15 service, but the whole train was standing room only, then it had to stop twice for a fault with the alarms, but I did eventually make it to BHM. Thanks for all the help.

12.15 is now skipping Leeds they've cancelled the stop, so I'm looking at the delayed 13.15 as the next train.

    Crosscountry Unreserved Coaches

I contacted Cross Country to see what my options were, I was supposed to be on the 11.15am.from Leeds, but because it was delayed an hour it skipped Leeds and Wakefield to make up time. The 12.15pm is also running 70mins late, and I imagine will be packed at it's a 4 car. Cross Country have...

Birmingham New Street to Birmingham International Tfwrs Route Only

Hi, I have a query regarding an any time single ticket I have for Birmingham New Street to Birmingham International. In the route section it states 'Tfwrs only'. Does this mean I'm limited to certain trains? It wasn't clear when I booked it, I thought I would be able to travel on any train...

    London Victoria to Fareham

Hi, In a few weeks time I'm travelling from London Victoria to Fareham, and from what I can understand on the timetable, it looks like the train splits at Horsham. Can anyone confirm if this is correct? and if so, which end of the train should I sit at so I don't end up having to move at...

Leeds to London Kings Cross Advance Tickets on Saturdays

I didn't realise thetrainline.com had a split feature, I never really use it that often. For some reason it seems to be the Leeds to Wakefield Westgate portion of the journey that is driving the price up on the Saturday. A ticket from Wakefield Westgate to Kings Cross is half the price, yet...

Leeds to London Kings Cross Advance Tickets on Saturdays

That's very interesting. I've just checked thetrainline.com as well, and tickets are showing cheaper on that website as well. I wonder if there's a glitch with the LNER website perhaps? they've always advertised that booking direct with them is cheaper than everywhere else, but I can get a...

Leeds to London Kings Cross Advance Tickets on Saturdays

Hi, I wondered if any one might be able to explain an anomaly I've come across with regards to the pricing of Advance Single tickets from Leeds to London Kings Cross and vice versa on the LNER website. It seems that the minimum price for most Saturdays from now up until as far in advance as you...

Transferring to the Elizabeth Line at Farringdon

No it only stopped at Peterborough before London. But I'll keep this in mind for the future. The lift from the Southbound platform worked a treat, thanks.

Transferring to the Elizabeth Line at Farringdon

I'm not that familiar with the Thameslink, I've only used it a couple of times, usually when there was a tube strike. I'm coming into Kings Cross on LNER, what's the quickest route from there to the Thameslink platforms at St. Pancras? I know if I exit Kings Cross at the front, turn right and...

Transferring to the Elizabeth Line at Farringdon

Thanks for all the responses. I think as dastocks posted above, it's probably going to be easier for me to change at Moorgate with regards to using the lifts with my luggage. However, the whole layout of the lifts at Moorgate does seem to be overly complicated, so it might not be the quickest of...

Transferring to the Elizabeth Line at Farringdon

Hi, I wonder if someone could give me some advice please, in regards to transferring from the Circle/H&C line to the Elizabeth line at Farringdon. I'm travelling from Kings Cross to Farringdon on the Circle/H&C line, then transferring to the Elizabeth line Eastbound to get to Customs House...

    Elizabeth Line Stations

That was what I expected it to be £2.90, but travelling via the Elizabeth line according to the City Mapper app the price is £5.40. The route it suggests is King's Cross to Moorgate, transfer to Liverpool Street, then the Elizabeth line to Custom House. I assume this is because you exit the...

    Elizabeth Line Stations

One thing that me confused was why there was a cost difference to travel from King's Cross to Custom House using the Elizabeth line compared with the DLR. Then I realised it's because you have to exit the underground and then enter the Elizabeth line, so two separate journeys.

    Elizabeth Line Stations

Thanks for the replies. It looks like it will be best for me to change at Moorgate then, as I'll have luggage with me, so less steps will be better. I used to travel via Bank and on to the DLR, so hopefully this should be easier.
