This reminds me that in 2021 they were down for 4 Arrival buses (not coaches). The funding got spent on some of the Yutong coaches instead, but what was the original plan it had gone ahead and Arrival hadn't gone bust?

Both! Besides every stop having a unique code, many clusters of 2+ stops also have a unique StopAreaCode. For example, Yate Shopping Centre is 017G0001, Billingford Post Office is 290G1225. Most bus stations have one, but whether smaller stop-pairs have one seems to depend on the whims of the...

Those services have disappeared from the Traveline National Dataset (and https://www.traveline.info/) – this can happen sometimes, as does the opposite problem of cancelled services sticking around. Fortunately there are other sources of data such as the Bus Open Data Service, so they're back on...
