Thanks guys. It looks like seat reservations are offerred for other trains on the same day that I was looking at, so I guess the issue is indeed regarding the Aurora units as suggested. I’ll see what turns up on the day!

I happened to see the 5Q19 Haslemere to Havant and the 5Q20 Havant to Clapham Junction (according to Realtraintimes) going through Rowlands Castle this afternoon. Unfortunately I didn't get a good look as I was in a pub garden at the time!

Yes, actually I think the front was more like the Twinset's rather than the slightly more pointed Railcar. The livery was a darker, more traditional green, though.

It was definitely an old tram - a railcar or may have been a Coronation or half of one of the "twin cars". Definitely not a modern CAF tram. Livery was mainly green. Had large stickers on the sides but couldn't catch what they said.

Traveling up the M42 and I've just passed a Blackpool Railcar on a trailer heading in the Birmingham direction. It had some stickers on it but I couldn'make them out. Out of interest, does anyone know where it would have been going? Cheers.
